My name is Yeabsira Mezgebe and I’m a photographer in the DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia) area. I primarily shoot on film due to the experience and the lack of shots I get per roll, which forces me to be intentional with my work. Most of my work is influenced by the music I listen to, the movies I watch and my everyday experiences. Growing up I’ve always liked to take pictures but never took it seriously until recently, so welcome to my photography journey.
